This is my personal lens, front and back glass are excellent, no internal problems.  The Optex UK conversion to S16 is the best, professionally done by ZGC (Zellan) who also set up the lens for optimum performance.  Comes with the standard Arri B (bayonet) mount, but can easily be set up with a PL or Aaton mount (other adapters are also available).   PL adapters are available on eBay, -150.
The Chrosziel fluid zoom hand control can be adjusted from light to heavy, to allow for smooth manual zooming at any speed (and of course can be removed if a zoom motor is needed).
Great lens for the ArriSR  and Aaton XTR, but also very good with Arri Alexa, Blackmagic, Panasonic EVA1, Canon 300 & 500, and RED cameras in cropped sensor mode.
