Double Strand Akoya Pearl Bracelet
This double-strand cultured pearl bracelet with a 14kt white gold clasp would be an elegant addition to any jewelry collection. The 14kt white gold clasp features a flower pattern consisting of three (3) Akoya Cultured Pearl “petals” with four (4) single cut diamonds creating the leaves and central stem. This would be just as perfect for a special occasion as it would be for the office.
The fifty-two (52) Akoya Cultured Pearls are approximately 5.6 mm each, cream colored, slightly off round with minor blemishes and strung in a double strand. The single cut diamonds on the clasp measure 1.7 mm each for an estimated diamond weight of 0.08 carats, VS clarity, and G color. The bracelet also includes a metal brace in the middle to help keep the strands parallel.
As a vintage piece, this is a previously worn, used item. While the bracelet appears to be in good condition, the string is beginning to show signs of fraying in some places such as near the tongue of the clasp. As such, it may eventually need to be restrung, especially if worn daily. The tongue of the clasp is stamped 14kt.
The bracelet has a total length of 8 inches. The gold weight of the 14kt tongue clasp with safety catch measures approximately 4.0 grams.
