IBM 80 Column SQUARE corners DATA Key-Punch Cards (Hollerith)
You are bidding one  VINTAGE IBM (Hollerith) punch card.
Since punch cards were used in the 1890 census, virtually all punch cards had square corners, until IBM changed to rounded corners in 1964.
    My cards have SQUARE corners.
I originally purchased In bulk 2000 per box, in the early 1970's.  The cards  have never been used, or for that matter out of the original box.
These are clean, unused, and show absolutely no visible signs of aging.
IBM (Hollerith) punch cards 80 columns of 12 positions  (0-9 + 2 zone)
IBM cards are exactly 7 3?8 by 3 1?4 inches  and 0.007 inches thick.
FORTRAN program statements had this format:
    Column 1      –  Comment  - usually marked with a “C”
Column 1-5   -  Line Number – usually used with format statements
Column 6       - Continuation of statement on previous card
Column 7-72  - the actual FORTRAN code ( latter systems used 7-80 )
Column 72-80 – Sequence or Identification number
When cards were to hold data, the format was free form.
