Vintage Bealieu 5008-S Super 8 Film Camera W/ Original Charger And Carrying Case.
Camera is in excellent working condition. The eye cup is not original and the dials are missing their label plate but you can find this info in a manual online.
Original charger works and the camera runs when plugged in but the original battery will not hold a charge for long. You will need to run this camera on house power or re-cell the battery. There were services for this online ~10 years ago but I don’t know if they’re still operating.
Tape on side door is paper tape and can easily be removed. It was added to prevent light leaks.
Auto exposure is functioning.
Overall this is a very high quality camera kept in great condition over the years. It’s served me well and I would love to see it in the hands of a more avid film shooter than I am these days.
