    Description

This board converts the RGB and composite signals on your Timex/Sinclair 2068 edge connector into the connector and signals required by a Sega Genesis HDMI converter. The combination of this product and the
Sega Genesis HDMI converter will produce an excellent video signal for use with your modern display.
If you own a Timex/Sinclair 2068, you know the video quality (even through the monitor jack) is poor. Back in the 1980s, RGB monitors were reasonably easy to come by and building your own adapter to connect your 2068 to the monitor was not very difficult.
Now, it's nearly impossible to find an old-school RGB monitor that works (not to mention shipping). And newer LCD monitors highlight every flaw in the 2068 video signal.
Well, use this converter with a Sega Genesis HDMI converter (available elsewhere for about ) and you will experience the highest quality signal your 2068 can put out. It, simply, a thing of beauty. You will never go back to NTSC and all its flaws.
Take a look at the two screen captures. You should recognize the raw, straight-from-the-2068 video. The clean one? That's this circuit and the Sega converter.
You will need to purchase a Sega Genesis HDMI converter separately.
I use the LevelHike HDMI Cable for Sega, which others have recommended highly. Pound and Hyperkin converters should work as well but I've not tested them.
