Pioneer F-447 FM/AM Tuner with CCTS, Silent Servo and AM Servo

This Pioneer tuner has a lot going for it. If you listen to both AM and FM radio, this tuner works hard to give you the best possible sound with the least amount of interference. They use special wizardry to achieve this. They call it CCTS, Silent Servo, and AM Servo. It also has a numeric signal strength meter to help you adjust your antenna for the strongest signal. I found the following on line about the CCTS circuitry:
CCTS is fun to watch as it displays signal strength before and after adjustment. It takes a second or two to operate, so you can disable it when you want to tune across the band more rapidly. You can also leave it off if you don't tune weak signals.
I use a set of indoor rabbit ears and I live in one of the many San Diego canyons, out of site of any transmitters. I am also near the arrival path of Lindbergh Field and this tuner does a great job of rejecting multipath. Although I would like to keep it, Spring Cleaning time is upon me and I am clearing out gear that I don't use as often as I used to. Happy Listening!
