Parasound T/DQ-1600 Broadcast Reference AM/FM Tuner FOR PARTS/NOT WORKING

TESTED, working but I'm not convinced that the tuner is as tuned as accurately as it is supposed to.  I have had a few really nice tuners from McIntosh and KLH, and they made even the best stations here come in like heaven's gate had opened up.  They also made awefully hashed stations surprisingly clear and usable.  This Parasound is billed as, "Broadcast grade", but it underperforms my cheaper Bose and '80's Pioneer stereos when tuning to the best station in the area.  THIS IS THE ONLY REASON THAT I AM SELLING THIS UNIT AS, "FOR PARTS OR NOT WORKING".  I RECEIVED IT LAST WEEK FROM A FRIEND, AND HAVEN'T HAD MUCH TIME TO FOOL WITH IT BEYOND HOOKING UP AN AMP AND SPEAKERS, SWAPPING DIFFERENT RCA CABLES AND SWAPPING AMPS.  I expect that someone who is more familiar with this unit, or, someone who can find a Radio Technician to check the tuning, will be satisfied with this item.  No Warranty, but you may ask any questions and check me out before buying.  Thanks.
