The Canon 518SV:
One of the sturdiest and most reliable, metal-built Canon Super8s. The 518SV has all the modern functions of the later 1970s Super8s : electric zoom, several shutter speeds, manual or automatic aperture setting. It only needs 4 AA R6 batteries to run all its functions, including the zoom and the meter. It also has an excellent viewfinder (same as the 814 Electronic). One of the main pros of this model is its ability to measure accurately all kinds of film sensitivity, up to 400ISO.

Smooth focus, smooth manual and electric zoom, aperture moving accurately, tested light meter and aperture responding accurately to light, clean battery compartment. Motor ok at all speeds. Color filter operating, manual aperture setting working fine (it's otherwise a common flaw on this model). Viewfinder and lens are clear, good condition with no defect.
