Canon Autozoom 814 Super 8 Vintage camera

Canon Autozoom 814 Super 8 camera in its original case with manual
Cosmetically good condition. All buttons etc are as they should. Lens is clear.
Camera is not working. It had one stuck corroded battery in it and when trying to change batteries i could not get the motor to run. The battery indicator remains in the red when changing batteries. Everything looks clean though.
Probably an easy fix for a wizard, but i am not one.
