    Description

    Up for consideration are 5 old 19th century Burmese gold and lacquered manuscripts. Beautifully written in Pali. The painting of these letters is a high art form as well as a very serious Buddhist text. There are some illustration paintings on some. These texts are called "KAMMAVACA".........Rules of monastic services as well as rules for morals. These were created during the mid 19th century . (1800s)............... These were the most sacred of Burmese text created during the Mandalay period. Rare and beautiful. An amazing art form. Important  Buddhist texts.
