Antique Burmese betel box, circa 1940. Burma lacquerware

Description

Gorgeous Burmese lacquerware betel box.
Black and red colour. 4 pieces.
This cylindrical box is made of lacquered woven bamboo and includes a 2 fitted interior tray to hold the various items necessary to make quids of betel (for chewing).
In EXCELLENT condition - the internal compartments and sides of the box are excellent. the box does have any crack or split or chips. (see photos).
